Remembrance

A small amount of Grandads ashes added to a pear tree within our organic cocoon, this helps ensure the tree can process the remaining elements usually toxic to plants and create a bioremediating effect that neutralises the ashes and allows the tree to process them, the tree in the video enters it's 3rd year planted this year.

The same process is used here, but this time we have added some cuttings of the hair of my partners mum Joan, a sense of comfort has been provided with a new way of connecting with nature and remembering loved ones lost.

Bonsai

This tree was the first tree we ever added ashes to, it's an evergreen bonsai and around six year ago, we added the first batch of our cocoons to it's root system, these ashes were my brothers and i often find myself chatting to it when i'm washing the dishes as it sits in the window soaking up the sun.
